HR 1207 Audit the Federal Reserve

The 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks, are private institutions working as a collective through the aid of Congress. It was Congress who instituted the Fed, but they still have no authority whatsoever. Since it's birth in 1913, the people's representatives in Washington, haven't even been given the access for a simple audit of their books! This problem has mushroomed since the bailouts started last year too, and something constructive must get done. As of April 28, 2009, each individual household in the United States owes $546,668! And they just keep spending more! Wouldn't you like to know where your $546,668 went? Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) introduced HR 1207 The Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009 in the House, and Senator Jim DeMint introduced it's companion bill S 604, in the Senate. Already boasting 282 co-sponsors in the House and 23 in the Senate, these two bills have overwhelming bi-partisan support, but they're still getting blocked in committee. But, with just a little more help from you, those numbers will keep growing until this historic legislation gets passed! Finally, "we the people" will have the opportunity to learn the truth about our money. Just realize for a moment ... They have the power to create money out of thin air, by the trillions, and give it to whomever they want, under any terms. Then you and I (the taxpayers), get to pay for all of it! Wouldn't you at least like to know where it all went? Contact your Congressperson today! Tell them to Audit the Federal Reserve! |
